With a new administration in the White House, theLibrary of Congress and Fleishman Hillard International Communications were looking for a new approach to an eight year old event. We were given complete control of design and production. From scheduling deliveries to managing all installation with more than a dozen vendors to catering menus, we coordinated and executed the week long set-up ahead of schedule. We were also asked to liaison with sponsors such as PBS Kids, Target, Scholastic, C-SPAN and Borders in order to provide a seamless event experience for them. The result was the largest single-day tent event on the National Mall, consisting of 44 tents which hosted 81 authors and 130,000 attendees. To the delight of our client, CatalystETC ran the event on schedule and on budget.
